Taipu de Fora
Taipu de Fora is considered one of the three most beautiful beaches in Brazil, thanks to the wonderful natural pools that reflect the blue of the coral barrier.
Swimming, snorkelling and diving are the main activities here, where you can even find some sea turtles.
To get to Taipu de Fora, it’s just a 1 hour and 45 minute walk, crossing beaches full of coconut trees.
Alternatively, there are taxi and garden services that connect Taipu to Barra Grande.
A Lagoa do Cassange
It is one of the most impressive natural beauties of the Maraú Peninsula in Bahia. Located between the sea and the lagoon,
this strip of sand creates a unique setting, with the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the calm sweet waters of the lagoon on the other.

Each one has its own characteristics, including an abundance of tropical plants, coconut palm gardens and white sands.
